Ancient Egypt and advantage of the protection by natural border. On the east side there was a small desert which plays the role to separate the area from Red Sea. While on the west the famous Sahara desert gives the Egypt a natural border. In order to separate the country from the European countries there was Mediterranean Sea on the North side of the country. While from South side mountains made a perfect border for the valley.

On one side it had the Nile which was difficult to cross if the Egyptians didn’t want people to cross it. On two sides there was a desert and one the north there was the sea. If Egypt wanted to isolate itself or be defensive in a war it had no problems doing so. It could easily restrict access of foreign cultures.
